My name is April Coker and I am here, because I truly believe everyone deserves, and can, live the life they have always dreamed of, no matter your age! I am committed to helping people live their happiest and healthiest lives with a solid backing of science and personal experience.
From being put on my fist diet at the age of 10, to owning my own studio and eventually becoming a published author of the health and fitness book “Total Body Health” at the age of 41, I have had the struggles that so many of us face and truly understand what you are going through!
While training with me, you will learn lasting habit change and have a custom fitness and nutrition program. In addition to personal training, I offer 4-8 week programs of Yoga for Stress Management. Whether you are brand new to exercise, feel you have stalled in your current program or need to learn stress management, I will provide the tools and support for you to reach Total Body Health!
Certifications include: Personal Trainer and Health Coach through the American Council on Exercise Science, Sports Nutrition Specialist, Functional Aging Specialist, Certified Integrative Yoga Therapist as well as a 200hr registered Yoga instructor through Yoga Alliance.
Fun Facts about April:
- She provides free online training to US soldiers deployed to the middle east
- April was an amateur boxer and appeared in issue 37 of Tapout Magazine while training in Las Vegas, alongside UFC Champions
- She has trained under international body builder Rabih Laz
- Is also a certified rescue scuba diver
